Carbon Black Uses
Carbon black is a product generated and modified through pyrolysis technology which is different from the traditional carbon black production methods. It has unique chemical and physical properties, with a high cross-linking degree and expandability. Pyrolysis carbon black has a good filling and reinforcing effect in rubber formulations, but also can improve the uniformity of carbon black dispersion in the rubber blend, and improve the processing performance of rubber products, so pyrolysis carbon black has been applied to the nylon twill tires in the inner layer of cloth rubber, the outer layer of cord fabric rubber, tire side rubber, inner liner rubber, and inner tube rubber formulations. Without adjusting other additives in the original formula, it can replace conventional carbon black such as N550/N772, which does not affect the quality of the finished tires. Besides, pyrolysis carbon black is also widely used in rubber products such as cables, tapes, seals, and rollers.
We suggest these three ways of further processing tyre carbon black. The first is made into briquettes or pellets for heating and burning. The second is made into N220, N330, N550, or N660 which are widely used in tire making industry. And it can also be processed into the color master batch and sold to the plastic industry.
